Open Android Studio, from the Welcome window, select Configure then SDK Manager.
Skip this step if you use UC lab computers) Select SDK Tools tab. If Google Play Services has not been installed, select, and install it.
Get API Key for Google Map, Location Services, Places and Street View
Click the menu (3 horizontal bar in the top-left corner) to see all menu items. Select Cloud overview then Dashboard.
2. Create a Google cloud project and name it Mobile Tech (Note in Google Cloud, your Android Studio projects are regarded as Android apps and they will be added to a Google cloud project).
Click the menu again and select API & Services then Credentials.
Click Create Credentials to create an API key. Copy this API key to add it to your Android Studio project later.
Click the menu again and select API & Services then Enabled APIs and services. Expand to see all 17 services and click on each of the three services below to enable its API.
